Assyrian Aid Society of America
An international humanitarian organization providing aid, promoting culture, and focusing global attention on the humanitarian concerns of the Assyrian people in their ancestral homeland.
About Assyrian Aid Society of America
The Assyrian Aid Society of America (AASA) is a charitable, international humanitarian organization established over a quarter-century ago. Its core mission is threefold: to provide direct relief and assistance to Assyrians in need, particularly those in the ancestral homeland of Iraq; to actively promote the preservation of Assyrian culture and heritage; and to focus American and international attention on the crucial humanitarian concerns facing the Assyrian people. Operating through a network of chapters across the United States, the AASA is highly efficient, ensuring a significant percentage of every dollar donated goes directly to funding projects in Iraq, which include education, healthcare, and reconstruction initiatives carried out in partnership with the Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq (AAS-Iraq). The AASA is a vital lifeline for securing the well-being and future of the indigenous Assyrian population.
